Aberdare is a wide range of 160km. it has an average elevation of 3500M. It is located in the west-central of Kenya, northeast of Naivasha and Gilgil
the range falls on the eastern part of the great rift valley the north to south. the east of it slopes gently, while the west runs into kinangop plateau. mount satima and mount kinangop are the highest and the second-highest peak respectively.
The western of the range is more occupied by wild animals compared to the eastern part which is forested, species found around are buffalo, hyenas, elephants, leopards golden cats, Jackson mongoose, the black and white colobus monkey and waterbuck, duikers, and bushbuck
the place is rainfall full of vegetables and hardwoods such as podo, cedar, hardwood, and camphor
Samburu is based on the banks of Ewaso Ng`iro river in Kenya, it`s altitude ids from, 800 to 1230M above seas level
Samburu attracts animals due to Ewaso Ng`iro river that runs through it and the mixture of forest and vegetation,
large game species are found there such as reticulated giraffe, grey zebra, cat animals like lion, cheetah, and leopard are also found here.
After breakfast in Nairobi, you will proceed to the Aberdares National park arrive in the afternoon. You will have lunch on your way to Aberdares and afternoon game drive. After the game drive, you will be transferred to The Ark. The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you! Later dinner and overnight at The Ark lodge.
After a nice breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a full day game in the park. Aberdare National Park is called The Majestic Moorland. Picturesque, steep forested ravines and open moorland characteristic the Aberdare national park. You will be able to see here elephants, black rhinos, leopards, hyenas, olive baboons and much more. At the end of the afternoon, he will bring you back to The Ark where you can relax a bit before having dinner.
Depart from Aberdares to explore both Samburu and Buffalo Springs Reserves. Arrive on time for lunch at Lion King Bushcamp and relax getting ready for your first-afternoon game drive.
You will have a full day in Samburu Game Reserve. You will spend the entire day exploring the reserve with a packed picnic lunch. A visit to a cultural village may be organized if you are interested. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Full day spent exploring the park. Buffalo Spring is the twin sister of Samburu National Reserve, which sits on the opposite, northern side of the river, Buffalo Springs has a wide variety of animals. Dinner and overnight at Ling King Bushcamp.
Enjoy early breakfast, check out and drive into Laikipia plains into Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy. On arrival, you will check-in at the Falcon Heights Hotel and have lunch. After time at leisure, you will have an afternoon game drive. During your game drives, you will also visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary
Early Morning breakfast at your lodge, check out for morning last game drive in Nairobi before you drive to Nairobi, Lunch en-route. The driver will take you to have dinner at Carnivore Restaurant. After great dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant we will then transfer you to the airport for your flight back home
